Welcome to the Arizona Sunbelt Chapter of
Meeting Professionals International

MPI is the meeting and event industry's largest and most vibrant global community, helping our members thrive by providing human connections to knowledge and ideas, relationships, and marketplaces. MPI membership is comprised of more than 24,000 members belonging to 80 chapters and clubs worldwide.

The 550+ Arizona Sunbelt Chapter, established in 1979, is the 13th largest chapter in the U.S. MPI empowers its members to increase their strategic value with education, professional development and business growth opportunities.

The chapter offers members a variety of educational, networking and community outreach opportunities throughout the year. We normally hold our meetings on the 2nd Thursday of each month, with the exception of special events such as the Annual Summer Education Forum, Annual Golf Tournament and quarterly Networking Mixers.

  1. Join a committee - for a full list with descriptions, go to our Committees page
  2. Write an article for the newsletter to share your expertise
  3. Serve as a mentor to a student
  4. Take the Global Community Challenge
  5. Utilize the resources available to you at the MPI Resource Center - www.mpiweb.org
  6. Post a job opportunity or search for available jobs on line
  7. Invite another potential member to attend the next event with you
  8. Take advantage of one of our sponsorship/advertising opportunities (raffle donations, monthly mini-tradeshow, advertising, etc.)
  9. Get information about obtaining the CMP or CMM certifications
