*Sponsor will underwrite expenses in full for one person to the PEC or World Conference and one educational book for giveaway during meeting. (We can have as many of these sponsors as we can find. $2,500 will give us enough to cover the expenses regardless of location with the remainder going to books, etc. to use for membership.)

Our chapter is now offering CVBs, National Hotel Sales Offices and other vendors the opportunity to sponsor an Arizona Sunbelt Chapter meeting or event.
The name of the "selling game" is exposure and that is exactly what you receive when you sponsor one of our meetings! Our chapter holds monthly meetings in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. These meetings provide outstanding educational and networking opportunities for planners and suppliers. Over the course of a year, we have approximately five luncheons, three breakfast and four dinners. Meetings are generally held on the second Thursday of the month. The typical schedule of events includes the following:
- First hour: registration, networking and mini-tradeshow
- First ten minutes of program: your opportunity to showcase your destination or hotel chain
- Second hour: meal and educational program
Purpose and Impact of Partnership:
Patterned after similar, successful programs in other chapters, the Arizona Sunbelt Chapter is actively soliciting potential CVB's, National Hotel Sales Offices and other vendors who are interested in receiving exposure to 142 meeting planners in the state of Arizona. We are encouraging the local CVB/National Sales Offices to gather support from representatives of their featured venues to share in the cost of the partnership and directly participate in the event. Ultimately, we aim to be able to bring your representatives face to face with planners in an interactive environment where they may see all the benefits of placing business in your locale or properties.
Benefits:
The goal of each partnership is to provide you the maximum amount of exposure possible to later translate into business and sales opportunities. The benefits offered to monthly meeting sponsors include:
- Sponsor name(s) and/or logo(s) included on all marketing for the event:
• Meeting flyer
• Newsletter
• Press Releases
• Signage
- Opportunity to set up a display with materials from the sponsoring venues(s) or destination(s) in the space reserved for event registration and networking reception. Planners can interact with representatives from these venues or destinations on a one-on-one basis to pick up information.
- Ten minutes at the lectern dedicated to your organization.
- Member list (for follow up with attending planners)
- Insert piece for the newsletter
- Opportunity to decorate tables at the event or place collateral at place settings
- Exposure on the MPI Arizona Sunbelt Chapter website
- Up to four registrations for the sponsored event.
